Read about the activities at Bedford

As you will see, 2008/9 has been another positive year for Bedford. The challenges presented by the economic downturn have not curbed our growth, with the Millicent Work Option Centre joining the group in November, significant capital expenditure particularly in our new regional areas and excellent progress with our community housing programme.

We remain focused upon ensuring the organisation is appropriately resourced, that our services are of the highest quality, that we continue to develop in line with our agreed strategic plan and that all our assets are prudentially managed in these difficult times.

We are very pleased to advise that Bedford is in sound financial shape and that the first three months of the new financial year have met our expectations. Our CareerSystems team is making good early progress with our part in the new Australian Government initiative, Job Services Australia, which sees significant expansion of our services.
