Bedford Achievement Awards

The Bedford Awards Day celebration is the pinnacle event on our calendar. It is a truly special occasion and an important opportunity for public recognition of individuals whose energy, enthusiasm, commitment and care for each other is an inspiration to us all.

On 16 June 2009, we celebrated the achievements of people with a disability at the Adelaide Convention Centre. We also held celebrations in Port Lincoln on 22 May at the Port Lincoln Hotel, Wallaroo 29 May at the Wallaroo Marina Tavern and in Mount Gambier at the City Hall on 3 June.

The Adelaide event, which attracted over 2,000 guests, acknowledged and recognised the important contribution people with a disability make to the South Australian community.

The 2010 Bedford Achievement Awards will be held across the state in conjunction with International Day of People with Disability on 3 December.
