Butterfly Ball

12 September 2008

Natalie Ronland, Doug Hicks & Boppa the clownBedford is on track to provide more community based living options for people with a disability thanks to the generosity of guests at this year’s Butterfly Ball, held at the Adelaide Convention Centre on 12 September 2008.

The event, which was themed ‘An Evening at The Ritz’, saw more than 600 guests enjoy a night of elegance and opulence to raise vital funds for ‘Homes for 100’ – a programme which provides homes and life skills so that people with a disability can have the choice to live independently.

The event, which was supported by a number of high profile local and national organisations including Optus Business, Network Ten, Constellation Wines, NAB, Harris Scarfe and the AMP Foundation, raised $100,000 dollars towards the $10 million needed for the first 35 houses.
