Team Bedford Mutual Community Challenge Tour

A challenge with a difference

16 members of Team Bedford competed in the Mutual Community Challenge Tour on Friday 22 January 2010, riding stage 4 of the official Tour Down Under. Six team members cycled 35 kms and 10 keen team members rode a staggering 160.5km to raise much needed funds for Bedford.

Participants raised over $3,500 which will go towards purchasing a side by side cycle for our Millicent Day Options Programme. This will be a valuable and worthwhile cycle that can give a real-life riding experience to those whose sensory or intellectual impairment precludes solo riding.
