Bedford provides much needed services to 1,800 people across the state, but more still needs to be done.*
Our focus is on addressing people’s needs in a caring and supportive environment. With your help, we can ensure that people with a disability or disadvantage are given the opportunity to fulfil their potential and achieve their dreams.
Bedford is creating a brighter future for South Australians with a disability, offering employment, recreational and day activities, training, life skills, community housing and support services.
Empowering people with a disability or disadvantage remains our key goal.
* At last count, about 57,877 people in South Australia under 64 had a profound or severe disability – one in 25 people (Australian Association of Families of Children with a Disability, Australian Bureau of Statistics, 2003).
