We are pleased to announce a new Bedford customer in Mt Gambier: Whiteheads Timber Sales.
Here’s a bit of background about Whiteheads.
They are a proud family-owned business that has been operating for over 30 years. Based in Mount Gambier, they have grown to become one of SA’s leading timber suppliers, with retail yards across South Australia and Victoria.
Earlier this year, Whiteheads approached Bedford when they needed additional processing capacity. Since then, the Bedford Mt Gambier team has supported Whiteheads to process a range of timber products including decking, fence pickets and pallet material.
James McGregor, Whiteheads GM, said Bedford’s optimising and docking line has helped to lift their recoveries, particularly with reeded decking.
