At Bedford, we are proud of our purpose-driven social enterprises that provide pathways for people with disability. As a Bedford-backed social enterprise, GreenInc combines technical excellence with social impact, delivering high-quality landscape construction, while creating inclusive employment opportunities for people of all abilities. With a strong focus on environmental regeneration, GreenInc is shaping sustainable outdoor spaces across South Australia.
GreenInc has continued to move the earth to make a difference in the first half of 2025. Every project delivered is grounded in two fundamental goals: creating high-quality landscape outcomes and generating meaningful, inclusive employment opportunities for people of all abilities.
This First-Half Impact Report captures the outcomes of GreenInc’s work from January to June 2025 and highlights how the team is contributing to a more inclusive and greener future through every project and opportunity created.
Inclusive Employment and Environmental Impact
In the first half of 2025, GreenInc employed 67 people of all abilities, including eight people living with disability or other barriers to employment. These team members play an active role across all stages of our landscape construction projects, from planning and preparation through to hardscape, softscape and ongoing site maintenance. Every team member is supported to grow their skills, build confidence and contribute meaningfully to their team and community.
GreenInc is also delivering measurable environmental outcomes across South Australia. Through large-scale planting, vegetation coverage and soil regeneration, the team has contributed to greener, more resilient spaces in commercial, infrastructure and residential developments. This dual focus on social inclusion and environmental sustainability reflects the very heart of GreenInc's values.
Key Highlights From January to June 2025
Project Spotlights
During the first half of 2025, GreenInc played a key role in delivering major projects that underscore the rising demand for environmentally sustainable and socially inclusive landscape construction across South Australia.
GreenInc played a major role in the Southern Expressway project, one of the state's most significant infrastructure initiatives. As the largest contributor by planting volume, GreenInc was subcontracted to deliver 26,042 tubestock and 15,755 potted plants. Managed by Acciona and with re-vegetation led by Hydromulch Australia, this large-scale project showcases how infrastructure can support ecological resilience, biodiversity and long-term visual impact.
The team also contributed to key commercial developments, including Peet Limited’s Tonsley Village (Stages 3 and 5) and the Bedford Group / SAGLE site, by installing over 2,700 potted plants at each location. These projects reflect GreenInc's ability to consistently deliver high-quality outcomes and demonstrate the growing momentum behind green infrastructure across South Australia.
GreenInc also delivered high-impact results across residential sites including Adore Estate and new Vista Stages, where a combined 3,795m² of instant turf was installed. These installations provide immediate greenery, reduce dust, control erosion and enhance the overall livability of growing communities.
Collaborating with Industry Leaders
GreenInc continues to build on strong relationships with leading developers and agencies including Fairland, Peet Limited, Renewal SA and Lanser. Many of these partnerships were first established through APG, Bedford’s garden maintenance business, which laid the foundation for GreenInc’s emergence in 2023.
These ongoing collaborations are a testament to the quality, reliability and values-driven outcomes that GreenInc consistently delivers. GreenInc's partners trust them not only for their landscaping expertise, but for the social and environmental impact they embed in every project, which reflects Bedford’s broader mission of creating inclusive opportunities and sustainable change.
Reflecting on the first half of the year, I am immensely proud of the achievements of our GreenInc team. We have delivered exceptional landscape projects for our clients while reinforcing our commitment to inclusive employment. By empowering individuals of all abilities to succeed, we continue to demonstrate that diversity, inclusion and collaboration are fundamental to our success.
I extend my sincere gratitude to our clients, team members and partners whose support makes this important work possible.
