The Flinders Chase Visitor Information Centre project, delivered on stunning Kangaroo Island, received top honours for outstanding construction quality in a regional location. Judges commended the team for its professional execution across documentation, planting, drainage, hardscaping, and overall finish.
The level of professionalism demonstrated by the crew was a key component of the win. Each stage was executed with strong coordination and a commitment to safety, sustainability and quality, ensuring the final result was both technically sound and visually cohesive. The finished landscape enhances the visitor experience with accessible pathways, thoughtfully selected native plantings, functional outdoor spaces and a polished overall aesthetic that complements the natural environment.
Regional projects often present additional challenges due to remote locations, complex site conditions, and logistical constraints. The Flinders Chase Visitor Information Centre project was further complicated by its location across Backstairs Passage from the mainland, yet the GreenInc team successfully navigated these obstacles to deliver an outstanding result.
