The annual Phoenix Cup returned for its 15th year on Sunday 26 November at ServiceFM Stadium – Football South Australia’s State Football Centre.

Six teams battled it out in a day full of highly competitive and fast tempo matches, Most importantly, the games were played in great spirits, with teamwork and sportsmanship featuring throughout the tournament.

The final between Ebo’s Army and The Lions Football Club was a tight affair, with the game going to penalties after finishing 0-0 in regular time.

Ebo's Army took out the cup after an enthralling win in the penalty shootout, 4-1!

Bedford’s own team, Gepps Cross Rebels, did us proud narrowly missing out on a place in the final going down to The Lions in the Semi-Final.
