About the Role
Located at our Panorama site, this full time, permanent role reports to the Site and Business Support Manager and works closely with people with disability to achieve their workplace goals. This role is responsible for leading and actively working in a team to ensure production timelines are met, as well as coordination, supervision and training of people with disability.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Provide direct supervision, training, and management of workers
- Maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee, coordinate, and participate in work activities ensuring timelines are met
- Identify training requirements and opportunities for continuous improvement
- Work within a framework to support people with disability to achieve workplace goals
About You
You will be a patient, and empathetic supervisor who uses a collaborative approach to achieve high-level outcomes. You will enjoy taking on a supportive, leadership role, but also be fond of working with your team and getting your hands dirty. Above all, you will appreciate Bedford’s values and purpose and genuinely want to contribute to the organisation’s goal to support people with disability to live the life they choose.
Other knowledge, skills and attributes include:
- Experience taking a hands-on approach to leading a team
- Understanding of manufacturing or production workflows
- Strong computer skills
- A genuine desire to help others and see people succeed
- A National Police Clearance (no older than six months old)
- NDIS worker screening clearance, or other NDIS approved clearance to work in the disability sector
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
- 100 points of identification
