With a focus on the creation of ‘Green Spaces’, GreenInc offers services in Landscape Construction & Maintenance including establishing green environments, irrigation, planting, paving, construction, turf laying, street furniture, walkways, play spaces, decking, earthworks, excavation and retaining walls.

GreenInc is part of the Bedford Group, which grew out of Bedford's APG (Adelaide Property and Gardens) to provide a range of commercial landscape services and to provide a pathway to open employment for people with disability.

About the Role

This full time, permanent Estimator role reports to the Estimating and Contract Manager. The position is part of a small and collaborate team and is responsible for the end-to-end processing of both public and private tenders in landscaping and ground maintenance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Negotiate and manage and quotes with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Complete, interpret, and lodge tenders / quotations
  • Calculate labour and material costs including quantity take-offs
  • Assist with cost management and preparation of variations of contract
  • Compile tender responses, including project methodology
  • Produce project time frames and programs

About You

You are passionate about the quality of your work and have the ability to build rapport and liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors throughout the tender and project lifecycle.

You are an experienced Estimator who is looking to build upon your skills and knowledge within a small, collaborative team, and have the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.

You will also have:

  • Previous estimator experience within the maintenance, landscape, or construction industry; maintenance estimating experience is highly regarded
  • Working with multiple priorities with high level of planning and time management skills
  • Ability to interpret site plans and specifications, and have knowledge of Quality Management Systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and proficient in Microsoft Suits (Excel, Word, Project and Outlook)
  • Qualification in the related field is well regarded

For this role the following documents must be provided prior to a formal offer of employment with GreenInc.

  • A National Police Clearance (no older than six months)
  • Evidence of right to work in Australia
  • 100 points of identification
