Bedford-backed social enterprise Cultivate Food and Beverage was excited to feature on Channel 7 News recently, in a story that discusses their social purpose, and the impact they are making on the lives of employees like Kira.
Cultivate’s purpose is to deliver quality food and beverage products while scaling social impact. This is achieved by providing open employment opportunities for people of all abilities, including those with disability or barriers to work. Cultivate is a training ground producing some of our country’s future chefs and hospitality workers.
Every time an individual has the opportunity to gain employment or transition to work in an open employment setting, there is a cascade of social, financial and health benefits for them and the community.
Supplying employees with the ingredients for change means Cultivate is great on the plate and in the community. At the same time, helping customers fulfil their appetite for social good.
